Felicity Holistic Care provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) services at this residence in Heidelberg.

We welcome enquiries from participants who have SIL & SDA provided in their NDIS funding. The propert is suitable for those requiring Fully Accessible or High Physical Support SDA.

The current residents include 3 males who are looking to share with another male or female.

Resident 1: 71-year-old male, who is a former civil engineer from Sri Lanka, who speaks English and Tamil. He uses an electric wheelchair and enjoys outings and daily visits from his wife. He likes connecting with others over meals and appreciates a calm, routine-oriented environment.

Resident 2: 60-year-old male, from India, who speaks English. He uses a manual wheelchair indoors and enjoys outings to shopping centers and restaurants. In his downtime, he likes relaxing in his room, listening to CDs, and watching documentaries.

Resident 3: 50-year-old Australian male, who uses an electric wheelchair and enjoys spending time with his children, often meeting them or going shopping on his own. He is friendly and enjoys socializing with others. He has a keen interest in TV shows and movies.

The property is also Assistive Technology ready, with automatic opening doors and ceiling hoists if required.

What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living, also referred to as SIL, is a NDIS funded support that enables participants to live as independently as possible, where, and how they choose.

Some SIL participants will be eligible to live in a shared home, while others may choose to live alone. Depending on your funding and preferences, our team will help you find the perfect home for you.

Our qualified, and caring team is highly experienced in supporting people living with a disability. They’ll help you with daily living tasks and develop your skills for independent living – including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan.

Who for

SIL services are for people whose capacity to live independently is impacted by their disability, and who have an NDIS package with Supported Independent Living services included at an appropriate level of funding. Felicity Holistic Care provides the SIL services at this residence in Heidelberg, Victoria.

This SDA home is provided by one of our trusted partners. SDA is designed for individuals with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.

Potential tenants will have SIL and SDA funding provided in their NDIS plan.

How to access

Applicants must have an NDIS plan with relevant funding and have the financial means to pay for the rent/board and utilities. Applicants will be sharing this residence with 3 existing male tenants.
